Lotte Hotel opened Lotte Hotel Seattle in downtown Seattle on Sept. 24 (local time). It is Lotte Hotel's 12th overseas hotel and third in the United States, with the other two in New York and Guam.

Lotte Hotel acquired the Seattle hotel for US$175 million from U.S. private equity fund Stockbridge at the end of 2019 by partnering with Hana Financial Investment. Lotte Hotel and Hana Financial Investment have established a real estate investment trust (REIT) company. The REIT owns the hotel and Lotte Hotel manages it. Lotte Hotel Seattle was originally scheduled to open in June, but was delayed to September due to the spread of the pandemic.
