At the Warner School, we believe that assessment is a critical component of student learning. Each course has carefully designed formative and summative assessments specific to the learning goals set for the course. In addition, each main Warner program has developed an assessment system that includes the articulation of a conceptual framework and targeted proficiencies, as well as a few major summative assessments designed to track students’ achievement of these proficiencies by graduation. Assessment data are systematically collected and analyzed as part of our commitment to maintain and continue to improve the high quality of all of our programs.

Academic Pricing Policy

RStudio offers free, open source products for R that meet the needs of most educators, staff and students. We also offer a free plan for RStudio Cloud with 15 project hours per month that often meets the needs of students and a free shinyapps.io account for up to 5 shiny applications and 25 active hours per month.

For instructors and students who need more project hours or compute resources RStudio Cloud offers discounted individual self-service paid plans and customized organization plans for qualified academic institutions who want to enable many people to teach, learn, or do research.

In cases where qualified academic institutions prefer to install RStudio commercial products on their own servers (RStudio Server Pro, RStudio Connect, RStudio Package Manager, or RStudio Team bundles), RStudio offers academic pricing. To qualify you must meet the Qualified Institution definition below and provide a school-issued email address during purchase. A school email address includes: .edu, .k12, and other email domains sponsored by your educational institution. For teaching purposes, a syllabus must also be submitted.
